LX-80-15 10 Hz Oceanographic Radar Sensor
5.2.5. Peak Wave Period - T
PEAK
The peak wave period is the period contributing the most energy to the power spectrum of the water
level measurements. It is calculated by performing the FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) on the water level
measurements, and then detecting the FFT point with the largest absolute value and returning the
corresponding period.
5.3. Statistical Level Measurements
5.3.1. Minimum Water Level - L
MIN
This is the minimum water level as measured by the level radar, within the time period as defined by the
Wave Analysis Length
parameter.
5.3.2. Maximum Water Level - L
MAX
This is the maximum water level as measured by the level radar, within the time period as defined by the
Wave Analysis Length
parameter.
5.3.3. Mean (Average) Water Level - L
MEAN
This is the average water level as measured by the level radar, within the time period as defined by the
Wave Analysis Length
parameter.
5.3.4. Median Water Level - L
MED
This is the median water level as measured by the level radar, within the time period as defined by the
Wave Analysis Length
parameter.
