How to Remove the Hydraulic
Pump
Note: When removing a hose assembly or fitting,
the O
-
ring (if equipped) on the fitting and/or hose
end must be replaced. All connections must be
torqued to specification during installation. Refer to
Specifications,
Hydraulic Hose and Fitting Torque
Specifications.

Fully lower the platform.
2 Turn
the key switch off and disconnect the
power supply.

IWPS models
: Pull the base lowering handle
to fully lower the base.

Remove the power unit cover.

Support the hydraulic tank with a lifting device.
7
Remove the mounting fasteners from the tank.
Remove the tank from the power unit. Do not
allow the hydraulic oil to spill.
Note: It may be necessary to tap the side of the
tank with a soft rubber mallet to loosen it.

Remove the mounting fastener from the
suction cover assembly on the pump. Then
remove the suction cover.

Remove the mounting fasteners from the
pump. Then remove the pump from the power
unit.
Note: When installing the tank, be sure not to
damage the o
-ring.

How to Adjust the Platform Lift
Relief Valve
Note: Be sure the hydraulic oil level is between the
FULL
and
ADD
marks on the oil level indicator.

Remove the power unit cover.

Loosen the locknut on the relief valve located
on the right side of the motor.

Follow the appropriate operator's manual to
set up the machine for operation.

Place maximum rated load into the platform.
Secure the load to the platform. Refer to
Specifications,
Machine Specifications.

Hold the relief valve screw and loosen the lock
nut.

While activating the platform up function, turn
the relief valve screw clockwise, just until the
platform begins to raise.

Fully lower the platform.
8
Add additional weight to the platform that is
equal to, but does not exceed 20% of the
maximum rated load. Secure the additional
weight. Refer to the machine serial plate.
