• Only refuel or handle fuel with the engine off!
• Never refuel near open flames, sparks or other sources of ignition.
• Do not smoke!
• Do not spill fuel! Immediately wipe up any drips!
• Pay attention to ventilation!
• Use protective gloves

• Avoid contact with battery acid
• Wear protective gloves, safety glasses and acid-resistant clothing.
• Keep the battery clean
Rinse off the site of the injury
Provide first aid in accordance with guidelines and/or notify first responders.
NOTE
Fuels age during storage. Deposits develop which can damage the engine's fuel system. Observe
the recommendations for storage/warehousing! Observe the operating manual of the engine
manufacturer!
7.1. Storage
Storage is defined as the keeping of the power generator in an operational state for up to two
months.
To do this, the following measures are necessary:
• Perform described all necessary maintenance and cleaning operations as described in the
<Maintenance> chapter.
• Fill the fuel tank completely.
• Add a fuel stabiliser to the fuel. Let the engine run for about 10 minutes so that the additive
can act in the carburettor. The fuel stabiliser prevents the formation of deposits in the fuel
system and on important parts of the carburettor.
• Protect the power generator from dust and moisture.
• Observe the maximum storage temperature in accordance with the rating plate.
• Note the regulations for storage of fuels.
