CAT-5 or CAT-6 cables should not exceed 330 feet (100 meters) between the
Sender / Receiver unit and the network.

Shielded (STP) CAT-5 or CAT-6 is recommended. However, un-shielded (UTP)
CAT-5 or CAT-6 is acceptable.

Operating Notes
DVI KVM over IP
IMPORTANT:
The use of a Gigabit switch is required when
connecting the DVI KVM over IP to a network. When using
multicast mode
, the Gigabit switch must have “jumbo frame”
capability.
