To open the Geberit pressing collar, pull the collar segments
apart and fit the pressing collar around the Geberit press-
fitting.

Check that the sliding segments move as they are meant to.
Ensure that the sliding segments move freely and that the
marks on the sliding segments and the shells form a line.

Make sure that the pressing contour of the Geberit pressing
collar is positioned correctly on the fitting bead of the Geberit
pressfitting.

The pressing collar is correctly positioned when the
centring plate is pointing towards the pipe.
4
Turn the closed Geberit pressing collar to the pressing
position.
