If a press connection has not been completely pressed – in
the event of a power cut, for example – it must be pressed
again. The Geberit pressing jaw and the pressing collar
must not be removed or rotated during the process.
Corrective pressing is performed in the same way as a
normal pressing operation. Depending on the state of the
preliminary pressing, there may be considerable idle stroke
before the pressing tool engages during corrective pressing.

incorrectly or if worn or damaged pressing collars
and adapter jaws are used

Only use the pressing collars and adapter jaws if they
are in perfect working order.

Make sure that the adapter jaw used fits the pressing
collar.
▶
If the pressing collar and adapter jaw have been used
incorrectly, or in a way that does not comply with their
intended use, do not continue to use them and have
them tested by an authorised repair shop.

goggles, protective helmet, etc.).
