Damage to the Geberit pressing attachments due to a failed
pressing sequence
The Geberit pressing attachments can be damaged by a failed
pressing sequence.

Replace the damaged pressing attachments and take them
out of service.
▶
If you suspect that the pressing attachments are damaged,
replace them and have the damaged pressing attachments
tested by an authorised repair shop.
Pressing with the Geberit pressing collar ø 108 mm is
performed in two stages with two different adapter jaws:
• preliminary pressing with pressing collar and adapter jaw
ZB 323 with compatibility mark
or ZB 221 with compat-
ibility mark
• final pressing with pressing collar and adapter jaw ZB 324
with compatibility mark
or ZB 222 with compatibility
mark
After correct preliminary pressing, the pressing collar can no
longer be removed from the pressfitting.

To open the Geberit pressing collar, push in the locking pin
and at the same time, pull the pressing collar apart at the
locking lug.
