Removing the Hard Drive

1. Stop any operations that the SymDec 4 is performing.
2.
Unplug the power to the SymDec 4
.
3. Pull the
active handle
outward.
4. Use the
key
provided and place the key lock in position

shown above (rotate counter clockwise).
5. Pull the handle outward and slide the carrier body away from the cartridge frame
6. To reinsert the drive perform the above steps in reverse.
The Search Interface (F)
The Search Interface allows the user to search the hard disk for recorded events, such as an alarm condition, or
a previous recording session. For example, each time Record mode is activated, it is considered a separate
recording session.
To enter the Search Filters menu, click the
Search
button or press the
F
key on your keyboard. The first screen
displayed is the Disk Analysis screen. This screen is a graphical representation of the recorded video stored on
the internal hard disk.
