Evaporator Thermistor
To remove the evaporator thermistor:
Remove the cutter grid. (See

Disconnect the evaporator thermistor from the

bottom of the control housing.
Remove the 2 hex-head screws from the water

trough and pull the trough from the unit.
Disconnect
Reach behind the accumulator, and unclip the
4.
evaporator thermistor.
When installing, snap the thermistor onto the
5.
evaporator tubing behind the accumulator.
Unsnap the 2 ice guides, if necessary, from
6.
the cutter grid tabs. (There should be a slight
outward tilt after the guides are installed.)
Bend the metal tabs outward, if necessary.

Water Distributor
Remove the cutter grid from the unit. See (

Pull out on the left and right water distributor

retainers, and remove the tabs from the slots in
the evaporator.
Pull the distributor forward and remove the

water hose.
