Connection Status
—Current state of the wireless network communication.
•
Scanning
—The unit is looking for an Access Point beacon signal.
•
Exp(ecting) Sync(hronization)—
The unit has found a valid beacon signal for its network.
•
Hop Sync—
The unit has changed its frequency hopping pattern to match that of the Access
Point.
•
Connected
—The unit has established a radio (RF) connection with the Access Point, but has
not obtained cyber-security clearance to pass data. See“Operation of Device Authentication” on
Page 67.
•
Associated
—This unit has successfully synchronized and associated with an Access Point. This
is the normal status.
•
Alarmed
—The unit has detected one or more alarms that have not been cleared.
•
Current AP MAC Address
—Wireless address of Access Point with which the Remote is associated.
•
Current AP IP Address
—IP address of Access Point with which the Remote is associated.
•
Association Date
—Date of last successful association with an Access Point.
•
Association Time
—Time of day association was established on the association date.
•
Latest AP Firmware Version
—Displays the first two digits of the associated AP’s firmware.
•
AP Auto Upgrade
—Displays if the associated AP’s over-the-air reprogramming parameter is enabled
or disabled.
•
AP Reboot when Upgraded
—Displays if the associated AP’s parameter for rebooting the Remotes
after over-the-air reprogramming is enabled or disabled.
