Manual Information
Revision History
Each page of this manual has a revision letter located at the bottom of
the page. It identifies the revision level of the entire manual. This may be
important if you have different manuals and you don’t know which is the
most current.
For the initial release, all pages have the revision letter A. For the
second update, all pages receive the revision letter B. The latest letter of
the alphabet added to the table below corresponds to the most current
revision.
Purpose
This manual provides technical information for service representatives
and technical personnel involved in maintaining the APEX S
transmitter.
Users of this manual are expected to have a background in electronics,
including analog and digital circuitry with RF and microprocessor
architectures.
This manual does not include extensive information on the circuit boards
that comprise the transmitter assembly. These assemblies are not field
repairable and require return to a GE Marquette service facility for any
repairs.
