Prerequisite Commissioning Steps
WARNING
: The transformer must be de-energised / powered down before
beginning the commissioning process.
It is also recommended to perform the following prior to commissioning the product:

Disable motor torque alarms (if required)

Test Product Connection
On the computer, use the Perception software to connect with the DGA 900 Plus and
ensure that the downloaded CSV file contains no data.
1.
In Perception Desktop, select
File > New Database
.
2.
Type a meaningful name for the database e.g.
[DGA900_PLUS_SERIAL_NUMBER]_[DATE &
TIME]_COMMISSIONING_[CUSTOMER_NAME]
3.
In the Asset Explorer, right click on the newly created database and select New >
DGA 900 Plus.
4.
On the Properties tabbed page, enter the connection details.
5.
If a successful connection is made, a green tick appears on the DGA 900 Plus icon
in the Asset Hierarchy as shown in Figure 10-3.

Right click the ‘DGA 900 Plus’ icon and select
Download
from the shortcut
menu.
7.
On the Properties tabbed page, the Device Connection details should show the
State as ‘Connected’ and actively display the download in p
rogress.
