OPERATION
NOTE !
TLE Series 160 - 500
requires the introduction of a “START-UP KEY” code to
perform the first commissioning.

"START-UP KEY"
code can be
introduced by a GE Service Technician
only.
The introduction of the
"START-UP
KEY"
code is mandatory to proceed
to the first start-up of the UPS.
WARNING !
Verify that the input/output connections have been performed by qualified
personnel before connecting Utility input voltage and verify that the equipment
is correctly grounded.
Open only the front door, do not remove any panels.
Now you can initiate the start-up procedure of the UPS system.
There is no need for specific knowledge if you follow carefully the step-by-step
instructions given below.
However we recommend that at least the initial procedure should be performed
by an instructed person.
Check after every step for correct reaction of the UPS (LEDs on the panel), and
correct voltage and current measurements, before you proceed to the next step.
If you encounter any problems during the following procedures, you should not
continue, but contact your
GE Service Center
.
