Storage recommendations
Storage conditions
Always store the D20MX in an environment compatible with operating conditions.
Recommended environmental conditions for storage are:
•
Temperature: -40 °C to +85 °C
•
Relative humidity: 5% to 95%, non-condensing
•
Maximum altitude: 12192 m [40,000 feet] above sea level
NOTE
Do not store the D20MX above 60°C for extended periods of time as this will shorten the life
of the super capacitor and reduce the backup time of the real time clock.
When powered off, the D20MX real time clock will remain active for 14 days at -40°C to
60°C, and greater than one month at 25°C. Information in the NVRAM will remain stored
indefinitely since flash memory is used.
