20.11 Band-Pass

Filters

A band-pass filter consists of cascaded high-pass and low-pass filters. To configure the

Band-Pass filter, follow the instructions for programming the high-pass and low-pass
filters.

The center frequency of the bandpass filter is given by:

where

= Band-Pass filter center frequency

= Low-Pass filter corner frequency

= High-Pass filter corner frequency

NOTE: The low-pass corner frequency

should be four times (or more) the high-

pass corner frequency
