Upper figure:
Glue four foam pads to the bottom of the 3-axis gyro system GU-344 GYRO. Only use the pads included with the GU-344
GYRO. Since the foam pads are damaged during disassembly,m the GU-344 GYRO has a sufficient number of spare pads
included.
Then connect the four speed controllers to the GU-344 GYRO according to the drawing. For the precise motor numbering,
see the lower figure.
Important!
Ensure correct polarity of the connection plugs. The cable with the minus pole (-) must be connected to the top,
the cable for the control signals (S) to the bottom!
Lower figure:
Attach the GU-344 GYRO according to the drawing. The 5 mm distance to the lateral bores must be complied with precisely.
In the indicated position, the arrow at the top of the GU-344 GYROs points in flight direction. The space between
motor 1 and motor 4 is at the front in this alignment and will later be marked with a flight direction indicator (also
see page P.11).
On demand, the GU-344 GYRO may also be installed turned by 45°, in which case motor 1 will points in flight
direction (also see page P.16).

Upper figure:
The upper figure shows connection of the receiver.
• The plug with the 3-wire cable must be connected to the receiver output for the aileron/roll function (AILE).
• The plug with the red cable must be connected to the receiver output for the elevator/nod function (ELEV).
• The plug with the orange cable must be connected to the receiver output for the throttle/pitch function (THRO).
• The plug with the yellow cable must be connected to the receiver output for the rudder/tail function (RUFF).
• The plug with the green cable must be connected to the receiver output for the landing gear/gyro function (GEAR/GAIN).
If you use a 4-channel system for control, leave the plug with the green cable unused. Gyro sensitivity is then set right at the
GU-344 GYRO (also see page P.12).
Lower figure:
Install the receiver on the upper chassis plate according to the figure. Use double-sided adhesive tape (servo tape) or the
remaining part of the included hook-and-loop tape.
