23.2.14 Other objects during flight
Other objects are: birds, moving crane, …
1
First of all, try to avoid collisions using the commands described before.
2
If a collision did occur, issue the FTS command to immediately power down the motor and
abort the flight.
23.2.15 Obstacles during landing
Scenario:
An obstacle (person, animal, …) suddenly appears in the obstacle clearance zone during
landing.
1
Depending on the situation, do one of the following:
●
If the X100
is above 50 m HALP, you can use the
HOLD
,
HOME
,
RIGHT
,
LEFT
or
GO
HERE
command. When the obstacle is removed, release the command to resume the landing
procedure. The
X100 will land on the intended landing location.
●
At any time during the landing procedure, you can issue the FTS command to force
the X100 autopilot to immediately power down the motor and return to the terrain.
Remember that you need to confirm the FTS command. The X100 will not land on
the intended landing location.
●
In the final leg, you can issue the GS_UP(S) command to move the X100's aiming
point 25 m forward. You can use this command multiple times. The X100 will not
land on the intended landing location.
