Scan area properties
Flight height (Altitude) versus Ground Sample Distance (GSD)
These two settings are linked to each other. The higher the X100 flies, the larger the GSD of
the pictures will be.
Picture forward and sideways overlap
The default value of the overlap is 75 %. Increasing the overlap has the following conse
-
quences:
●
higher density of flight lines on the scan area;
●
higher amount of pictures to process;
●
higher accuracy;
●
longer processing time of the pictures;
●
longer flight duration.
Choose the overlap for your flight plan based on the flight duration, number of images and
desired accuracy.
Flight duration
The maximum flight duration is 45 minutes in standard ISA conditions and is limited by the
battery capacity. This value turns red when exceeded and a warning message is displayed
when going to the summary of your flight plan settings with this value.
