X100 fully initialized
It is your responsibility to take action during flight when the safety of the X100 or its surround
-
ings is compromised (e.g. other aircraft approaching, incomplete or incorrect flight plan, ...).
Therefore it is important to monitor the X100 during the entire flight in Horizon.
1
Monitor the following items in Horizon during the entire flight:
●
The trajectory of the X100 on the map must be close to the programmed flight path.
●
Compare the flight height on the Horizon altimeter with the desired flight height
shown above the altimeter. These values are also shown next to the X100 icon
moving on the map.
●
Compare the airspeed on the Horizon airspeed indicator with the desired airspeed
shown above the indicator. These values are also shown next to the X100 icon
moving on the map.
●
Monitor the warning message field for in-flight warnings and errors (e.g. loss of GPS
lock, loss of communication link, low battery,...)
●
monitor the following parameters on the sensor tab:
●
GPS number of satellites used for fix
●
GPS Horizontal Dilution of Precision (HDOP) in cm
●
GPS speed (ground speed X100)
●
Altitude error (deviation from the desired height)
●
Image counter (number of camera triggers)
2
If possible, keep visual contact with the X100.

Once the X100 starts landing, a dialog appears in Horizon, showing the landing circuit that will
be followed. This is accompanied by an audible signal.
1
Click Acknowledge Circuit to acknowledge that the X100 is landing according to the
defined landing circuit.
2
Monitor the landing of the X100 in Horizon.
