Prepare for flight

Preparation of the X100 for launch

19.5.4

Mount the camera in the aircraft

REREQUISITES

●

X100 body

●

Assembled Ricoh camera

The camera must be mounted correctly to ensure correct balance of the X100.

Remove the top cover from the payload bay of the X100 body.

Connect the USB camera connector to the Ricoh camera.

Place the Ricoh camera into the camera compartment of the payload bay.

OTE

: Make sure the lens and UV filter are clean.

Place the foam block around the Ricoh camera to secure its position.

ESULT

The camera is mounted in the X100.

OTE

: Make sure the USB camera connector is still connected after placing it in the X100

body.

Put an F22 transmitter in the X100

REREQUISITES

●

F22 transmitter which is stored in memory of the R1 receiver

●

X100

Sometimes it is necessary to track down the X100. To make the X100 traceable, an F22 trans

mitter must be inserted.

Power on the F22 transmitter.

Place the F22 transmitter in the payload bay of the X100.
