Fail-safe mechanisms
Fail-safe mechanisms activate whenever a technical issue occurs that reduces the safe
behavior of the X100. Most of these mechanisms also trigger a notification on your GCS,
describing the issue.
23.1.2
Handle a low battery warning before launch
Scenario:
The battery voltage is below 12.0 V. You cannot arm the X100; this is an automatic fail-safe
mechanism to avoid launching with a low battery level.

Abort the launch procedure and put the X100 in STANDBY mode.

Replace the battery with a full charged one.

Restart the X100 (ON mode).

Check the MPBat indicator in the flight instruments panel in Horizon. The value should be
12.0 V or higher to be able to arm the X100.

Continue with the launch procedure.
