Remove the modem card. You can slightly seesaw the card end-to-end to
loosen the card, but do not bend the card sideways.

Install the replacement modem card into the slot. You can slightly seesaw
the card end-to-end to help insert the card, but do not bend the card
sideways.

Secure the modem card with the screw you removed in Step 5.

Reinstall the case cover by following the instructions in “Closing the
Family Media Center case” on page 7.

Reconnect the power cord and modem, network, and all peripheral device
cables.
Warning
Do not touch the contacts on the bottom part of the modem
card. Touching the contacts can cause electrostatic
damage to the card.
