The pass-through configuration provides a connection of one channel to another (Figure 2-3).

Point-to-Multipoint Systems
Point-to-multipoint systems are commonly used in broadcast applications for distribution of a single
signal (either a complete T1 frame or selected time slots) to multiple destinations. Figure 2-4 shows a
point-to-multipoint system.
