GND
(A)
(Black)
Connect to the negative terminal of the battery, -12V.
Typically, grounds are established in the fuse panel, and
installers would need to connect there.
IGNITION
(B)
(Yellow)
Connect to the vehicle ignition, +12V, signal required to
activate the device. Ensure that the provided 1 AMP
fuse is used. Ignition is obtained from the “cold” side
of the solenoid.
POSITIVE
(C)
(Red)
Connect to the positive terminal of the battery, +12v.
Ensure that the provided 15 AMP inline fuse is used. +12V is
obtained from the “hot” side of the solenoid, or the cables
that connect directly to the battery from the fuse panel
Sensor Cable
The sensor cable CAB000376 connects to the connector marked “SERIAL/SENSOR” on the
back of the device. The sensor portion of the cable is 5 metres sheathed together. Wires are
colour coded and labelled with its corresponding Sensor number.
There is a 4 pin flat Molex connector for attaching a Driver Alert Button or Alert Panel.
ICD
The ICD connector is used to connect an optional ICD2 touch screen panel to the device. The
panel can be used for configuring the recorder, configuring the IP camera, viewing live video
and playing back video. CAB000391 is used to connect the ICD2 Panel to the recorder.
GPS
If this option is included, a GPS module must be installed and a 5 GHz antenna must be
attached to imbed the vehicle location and speed into the video.
