PFD Operation and Control
The PFD serves as an interface to control the autopilot and the
transponder. It is used additionally for displaying map information. The
ADAHRS page on the PFD can display the following information:
•
Horizon
•
Airspeed
•
Attitude
•
Altitude
•
Vertical speed
•
Heading
•
Course deviation
7.2.3
Engine Indicating System Display
The G3X EIS can display the following critical engine, electrical, and other
system parameters. Additional EIS information can be viewed by
accessing the different tabs on the Eng Page on the multi-function display
(MFD):
•
Left/right cylinder-head temperature
•
Oil temperature/pressure
•
Fuel pressure
•
Voltage/current of main and engine battery
•
Left/right wing fuel content
•
Fuel consumption
As a part of the G3X system, the display unit is capable to work in a split-
screen mode to display further information parallel to engine data.
However, engine indication is the first priority to be displayed and
overriding this ability is permitted.
7.2.4
G3X Autopilot
Touch the AP status box on the PFD-screen on the LMFD to open the AP
control panel. Here you select the lateral and vertical AP modes, set AP
target values, and engage and disengage the AP.
Press the red button on stick to quickly disengage the AP.
Setting the PFD switch OFF will also disengage the AP.
