CAUTION
The following modes of the G3X autopilot are not certified for this
aircraft: Navigation modes using other than GPS navigation sources, all
approach (glidepath and glideslope) modes and take off/go around
(TO/GA) modes.
4.1.4.3
Flight Director Operation
The flight director function provides pitch and roll commands to the pilot
and autopilot, which are displayed on the PFD-screen. With only the flight
director active, the aircraft can be hand-flown to follow the path shown
by Command Bars.
Flight director modes are normally selected independently for the pitch
and roll axes. Unless otherwise specified, all mode keys are alternate. In the
absence of specific mode selection, the flight director reverts to the
default pitch and/or roll modes.
