7.1.2 System Architecture
The heart of the G3X Touch system is a display unit (GDUxxx), combined
with an ADAHRS (GSU25), an OAT probe (GTP59) and a magnetometer
(GMU11). Connected to the electrical and the pitot-static system of the
aircraft, this minimum configuration provides airspeed, altitude, attitude,
heading and navigation information to the pilot.
This system is completed by an analog-to-digital converter (GEA24) for
processing engine data, a second display unit (GDUxxx) for displaying
engine data and two autopilot servos to provide automatic control of
pitch and roll axis.
All LRUs communicate via CAN-bus or serial RS232/485 busses.
More LRUs are available from the manufacturer but not installed in this
aircraft.
