7.1.4 Restrictions
The G3X Touch system installed in this aircraft does not support:
Engine and Airframe Sensors:
• Trim and Flap Position Indication is not installed
•
Angle of Attack Indication is not installed
Communication/Navigation/Surveillance:
•
The VHF-COM Radio works independently and is not connected
with the G3X equipment.
•
External GPS or Navigation equipment works independently and
is not connected with the G3X equipment.
•
The ATC equipment works independently from the G3X but
receives position data for ADS-B functionality.
•
The traffic warning system and the soaring computer also work
independently.
Automatic Flight Control System:
• The following Autopilot modes are not supported and must not be
used:

Glideslope

Glidepath

Go-Around and Takeoff

Approach

Non-GPS based NAV-modes
•
Electronic Stability & Protection X is not supported and must not
be used
Other optional functions may require additional equipment, software or
configuration.
