3b. For flght plan fuel plannng, turn the
small
right
knob to select the desred flght plan by
number (already stored n memory. “00” s the
actve flght plan). Turn the
large right
knob
to hghlght the “LEG” field and turn the
small
right
knob to select the desred leg of the flght
plan, or select “Cum” to apply fuel plannng
calculatons to the entre flght plan.
4. If your fuel management system does not enter
the data automatcally, turn the
large right
knob to hghlght the fuel on board (FOB)
field.
5. Use the
small
and
large
right
knobs to enter
the amount of fuel on board. Press
ENT
when
finshed.
6. The flashng cursor moves to the fuel flow (FF)
field. Use the
small
and
large
right
knobs
to enter the fuel flow rate. Press
ENT
when
finshed. Note that f a fuel system s provdng
current fuel flow, the fuel flow field wll default
to ths value.
7. The flashng cursor moves to the ground speed
(GS) field. Use the
small
and
large
right
knobs to enter the ground speed. Press
ENT
when finshed.
8. Wth all varables entered, the followng nfor-
maton wll be provded:
• REQ — Quantity of fuel required
• LFOB — Left-over fuel on board
• LRES — Left-over fuel reserve time
• EFF — Efficiency, expressed in distance per
fuel units (e.g. nautical miles per
gallon)
• RNG — Range (distance)
• ENDUR — Flight endurance, or total available
flight time
9. To reconfigure the data fields press
MENU
to
dsplay the optons wndow. Turn the
small
right
knob to hghlght the “change fields?”
opton. Press
ENT
to reconfigure the data
fields. Turn the
large right
knob to select the
desred field. Turn the
small right
knob to
hghlght the desred data. Press
ENT
to select
the data configuraton.
