Configuration of channel auto-switching
If the connection to the counterpart gets lost, the console module can automatically
switch to the other channel.
How to configure the channel auto-switching:
IMPORTANT:
The activation of the Transm. Redundancy feature and the connection
to a second console module are prerequisites for this operation option.
IMPORTANT: Since the console module is identified by the same UID on both tras-
mission channels, it is not permitted to connect both channels to the same counter-
part.
OSD
1. Press Alt+Num ( default ) to open the OSD.
2. Select the row Console utility and press Enter .
3. Under Channel auto-switching press F8 to select on of the following options:
never  The channel accessed by the user is maintained in case of a
disconnection ( default ).
online  If a connection is terminated, the device auto-switches to the
other channel if this channel has an active connection.
always  If a connection is terminated, the device auto-switches to the
other channel regardless of the connection status of the other
channel.
4. Press F2 to save your settings.
