Connect the computer to be operated to the computer module ( VisionXS-CPU ). The
remote console is connected to a compatible console module of the V ision or VisionXS
series.
Both the computer module and the console module are connected via a category 6
(or better) twisted pair cable.
Signals of keyboard, mouse and video (DP1.2 alt mode) of the computer connected
are transmitted using these cables and enable you to operate the computer remotely.
Optional connection to a KVM matrix switch
As an alternative to using the devices as stand-alone units, you can also connect the
modules to compatible G&D KVM matrix switches.
Use the CPU modules to connect computers and the compatible CON modules to con-
nect workstations to the matrix switch.
The above-mentioned variants are compatible with the following matrix switches:

ControlCenter-Compact-Serie: Version 1.6.0 or later

ControlCenter-Digital-Serie: Version 2.5.0 or later
