3.10 Finishing the registration
To finish the registration, leave the recording mode by pressing the button Switch Recording OFF .
Subsequently, save the recorded data via the menu . CADIAX compact 2 Recorder can save
the data of every patient as an individual file. As file name, it hereby suggests a composite of patient
name and date of birth, which can be changed arbitrarily.
If CADIAX compact 2 Recorder was started from GAMMA Dental Software, the recorded data
can be transferred to the invoking application via the entry
Save and Exit in the tool bar.
To prevent data loss due to issues occurring while saving the recordings, those are saved in the
sub-directory
GDSW/Temp of the user's documents folder. To recover such a file with the exten-
sion *.ccr , use the corresponding menu item in the Data menu.
Make sure to switch off the recording mode before starting to dismantle the system!
Disassemble the system in reverse mounting order. First, loosen the measuring styli and flags from the
face bow and subsequently remove the lower face bow from the clutch. Afterwards, remove the upper
face bow and eventually remove the clutch.
To loosen the clutch, move its shaft carefully up and down. When removing the clutch, take care
to not have it hit against the teeth of the upper jaw due to jerky movements. If necessary, pro-
tect them, e.g. by putting a wax plate in between the teeth.
