Maintenance
6.1 Overview
The system is designed for automatic trouble-free operation under the continuous supervision
of the internal computer. Maintenance requirements include:

Routine preventative maintenance (Section 6.2)
•
Periodic operations to optimize performance (Section 6.3)
A list of recommended spare parts is provided in Section 11.

Routine Preventative Maintenance
Routine Preventative Maintenance
of the 943-TGX analyzer consists of:
•
Visual Inspection of the
Key Operating Parameters
displayed on the front panel of the
analyzer and verification of certain flow change of various gases and response changes on
the analyzer (Section 6.2.1).
•
Weekly performance of the
Maintenance Check-out Procedure
(Section 6.2.2). The
operator should complete the
Maintenance Record Sheet
included in
this section and
maintain a file of record sheets to provide a time based record of system operation.
6.2.1 Visual Inspection of Key Operating
Parameters
Table 6-1 presents the conditions and status indicators that should appear for a system in
normal operation. If the indicators on the front panel of the analyzer’s computer are indicating
as shown below, the system is operating normally and no further maintenance is required.
