MACHINE OPERATIONS AND CONTROLS

3. Turn the key in starting switch (3) to the START position. The

engine will start.

4. When the engine start, release the key in the starting switch

(3). The key will return automatically to the ON position.

5. Keep the engine idle for the initial 15 seconds right after it has been started, and do not operate any control lever

or the fuel adjustment dial during that time.

6. Check that battery charging level monitor (4) lamp and engine

oil pressure monitor (5) lamp do not light up.
