4.4 Entering the MOB Mark
The MOB (Man OverBoard) mark denotes
position of man overboard. This mark can
only be inscribed on the radar/video plotter
and video plotter displays.

1. Press the [MENU] key.
2. Press the [8] key twice.
3. Press the [2] key to select 2. MOB. The
MOB mark (“M”) is inscribed at own ship’s
position the moment the key is pressed.
4. Press the [MENU] key to close the menu.
A MOB mark can be erased by placing the
cursor on it and pressing the [CANCEL/
CLEAR] key.
4.5 Entering the Origin Mark
The origin mark (
) is mainly used to find
the range and bearing between two targets
on the radar/plotter and plotter displays.
1. Press the [MENU] key.
2. Press the [8] key twice to display the Mark
menu.
3. Press the [1] key to select Mark Selec-
tion.
4. Enter [0], [1] to select Origin Mark
.
5. Press the [ENTER/SELECT] key.
6. Place the cursor on target and press the
[MARK] key.
7. Place the cursor on the other target.
8. Press the [MENU] key to close the menu.
Check cursor position display at the screen
top to find range and bearing from the origin
mark to own ship.

To erase the origin mark, repeat step 6 above
again.
4.6 Mark Color
Mark color can be selected as below. Note
that the color of the origin mark (white) can-
not be changed.
1. With the video plotter mode selected,
press [MENU], [8], [8].
2. Press the [4] key to select mark color de-
sired.
3. Press the [ENTER/SELECT] key to reg-
ister your selection.
