A serial number may be included in test results for printing or data logging. The serial
number may be provided from a barcode scanner or from an auto-incrementing counter.
When the auto-incrementing counter is used it may have a fixed prefix, defined in this menu,
or the barcode scanner can provide the prefix.
SERIAL No. TYPE
•
Options:
o
AUTO ON RESULT:
The six digit serial number is automatically incremented
after every result and appended to a prefix.
o
AUTO ON PASS:
The six digit serial number is automatically incremented after
every pass and appended to a prefix.
o
BARCODE:
The barcode scanner provides the entire serial number. The six digit
counter is not used.
PREFIX
•
This is used with the auto-incrementing counter. Up to sixteen characters may be
added to the front of the serial number. Trailing space characters are not included in
the serial number.
SERIAL No.
•
This is the auto-incrementing number. You may set the initial value, and thereafter it
will be incremented after each test according to the Serial No. Type setting.
