Radio Configuration
Fixed Radio layer
address
Every customer gets a unique radio layer address assigned by Piciorgros
GmbH. The radio layer address ensures that only RTU-810 of the same
customer can communicate with each other and that similar RTU-810 (or
older radio products like RTU-700/710) which are running on the same
frequency but in a different time slot from another customer can't send or
transmit data to the own radio network.
This radio layer address is displayed here. It is a 4-digit hexadecimal
number.
Variable address
A customer can apply for a radio layer address range if he purchases a
higher volume of devices and wants to separate these devices for his
customers into separate radio networks which are separated from each other.
If RTU-810 are delivered to a customer with an additional radio layer
address range, the radio layer address can be set here within the allowed
address range.
Radio layer
address use
Selects whether the fixed radio address or the configured variable address
should be used for the communication.
