Read this "Warnings and Cautions" before using the FX-8322/FX-8322R so you can use the equipment correctly and
safely.
These warnings and cautions described here provide important information on equipment safety; and they must be
observed when using the equipment.
DANGER
Do not modify electronic devices for medical use.
Otherwise, the safety of FX-8322/FX-8322R cannot be ensured and the patient or
the operator may be exposed to dangerous situation.
CAUTION
This service manual is intended for use by authorized Fukuda Denshi service
personnel and technicians trained in medical electronic equipment.
Use proper facilities and tools when repairing and/or assembling the
FX-8322/FX-8322R.
When operating the equipment with its housing removed, a safety check will
be required after it has been assembled. Contact the related department of
Fukuda Denshi (International Sales Division) beforehand when operating the
equipment with its housing removed.
In order to avoid damage to electric parts by static electricity, operate the
equipment on a working desk with anti-static mat. Furthermore, make sure to
wear an anti-static wrist strap designed to discharge static electricity from
human body when operating the equipment.
Keep PC boards and electric parts that have been removed from the
equipment in a conductive bag in order to protect them from static electricity,
liquid spills and shock.
When replacing parts, make sure to only use parts that are specified for the
FX-8322/FX-8322R.
Use proper screwdrivers to tighten or loosen screws.
Make sure to use screws that are specified by Fukuda Denshi.
When reassembling, make sure all screws are tightened to original positions
and all disconnected connectors are reconnected properly.
Make sure to handle the FX-8322/FX-8322R according to the instructions
given in the [FX-8322/FX-8322R Operation Manual].
Also, refer to the operation manual for usage precautions.
