Rack installation instructions

●

When connecting and disconnecting cables, follow the instructions in the 
“Important information" chapter in the documentation for the corresponding 
rack. The technical manual for the rack is supplied along with the rack itself.

●

When installing the rack, make sure that the anti-tilt mechanism is correctly 
fitted.

●

For safety reasons, no more than one unit may be removed from the rack at 
any one time during installation and maintenance work.

●

If several units are simultaneously removed from the rack, there is a risk that 
the rack could tip over.

●

The rack must be connected to the power supply by an authorized specialist 
(electrician).

●

If the server is integrated into an installation that draws power from an indus-
trial power supply network with an IEC309 connector, the power supply's 
fuse protection must comply with the requirements for non-industrial power 
supply networks for type A connectors.
