Ê Remove the cage for the hard disk drives (see section “Removing the cage
for the hard disk drives” on page 99).

Remove the SCSI cable (4) and the OLR control cable (5). These cables are
no longer required.
Ê Plug the delivered LVD/STM module onto the second SCSI backplane.
Ê Plug the free connector (ST2) of the I2C bus cable (3) onto the connector X3
on the new LVD/STM module as shown in figure 49.
Ê Connect the delivered SCSI cable (7) to the SCSI-IN connector on the SCSI
backplane 2 as shown in figure 49.
