The CPUs that can be installed vary between models.  The CPUs listed in table (1) and table (2) cannot be mixed. 

 

To use Memory Scale-up Boards, two CPUs must be installed in the system board of the connection destination. 

 

However, connections to Memory Scale-up Boards are not available if the Intel® Xeon® Processor E7-8855v4 is 

 

installed in the system board.
