Backup and Restoration of Configuration Information 

For details, refer to "10.1 Backing Up and Restoring Configuration Information" in 

"Administration Manual". 

Backup Mechanism 

•

Configuration information is stored in the System FRU (I2C EEPROM) on 

the OPL. 

(This processing is performed regularly or when MMB firmware is 

updated.) 

•

The same information is stored also in the flash memory of the MMB. 

•

When duplicated MMBs are used, the same information is always stored in 

both MMBs.

Device identification information
