Connecting the power cables

An explanation of power cable connections follows.

The method used to connect the power cables depends on how power is supplied to 

the main unit.  The following three methods of supplying power are explained in this 

section:

l

Non-redundant PSU configuration

l

Redundant PSU configuration (N+1) for power supply

l

Dual power feed

Note:

The redundant power supply and dual power feed cannot both be used at the 

same time.

Equipment damage

The power cables must be connected to easily accessible, grounded outlets.
