The CD-ROM Drive must be installed or
removed with the power off.
Iomega Zip Drive
The Zip drive can be installed in either Multi-
function Bay.
Your Zip drive is durable but you must treat
it with care.Please pay attention to the
following points:
■
The drive rotates the Zip disk at a very high
speed. Do not carry it around or subject
it to shock or vibration with the power on.
■
Avoid using or storing the drive or Zip
disks where they will be exposed to
temperature extremes.
■
Avoid using or storing the drive or Zip disks
where it is damp or dust y.
■
Avoid using or storing the drive near
magnets or devices that generate strong
magnetic fields.
■
Avoid storing the drive where it will
be subjected to shock or vibration.
■
Do not disassemble or dismantle
the Zip drive.
For guidance on loading a Zip disk in your Zip
drive,and caring for Zip disks see Section Two.

The optional second hard drive is durable but
