In Movie mode, the lens is locked in the wide-
angle setting and only the digital zoom can be
used. You can use “

” to zoom in and
out. A “zoom bar” is displayed on the LCD
monitor.

suit the scene being shot.

automatically ends and the movie is stored on the
SmartMedia.
During shooting, “

REC” appears on the LCD
monitor and the remaining time is displayed in
the top-right corner.

The time required to record a 20 second movie
(roughly 3 MB) is approximately 3 seconds.

If you start shooting and then immediately end
shooting, only 3 seconds of movie is recorded onto
the SmartMedia.
If you press the shutter button again during
shooting, shooting ends and the movie is stored
on the SmartMedia.
