4.7 Removing Balloon
WARNING
When removing the balloon, wear personal protective equipment and
slowly remove the balloon. There is a risk of infection.
(1) Remove the balloon ring from the balloon attachment
groove.
(2) Roll the balloon slowly toward the distal end of the ultra-
sonic endoscope to remove.
[Note]
Do not pinch the transducer with your fingers.
[Note]
If the balloon is too slippery to be held, cover the balloon
with gauze for easier removal.
Dispose of the removed balloon.
[Note]
Make sure to remove the balloon before cleaning the
ultrasonic endoscope.
