Grounding
This equipment must be earthed.
An independent earth pole shall be used for POD. (The
level of grounding resistance should be less than 100
Ω
.)
Use a cable which has a nominal cross section of more than
2mm
2
for grounding.
Grounding point shall be near the POD to shorten the
distance of grounding wires.
Wiring for Communication
Never place the communication
cable with electric circuits.
Never bundle these cables together
with other wires in ducts or electric
boxes using cord locks. Although it
is tempting to bundle all the cables
neatly together, this does not
necessarily lead to a noise-resistant
configuration.
It is recommended that the
communication cable be independently wired.
