Connecting FRITZ!Box Fon ata to the Router via a Network
Hub or Network Switch
To connect to a router via a network hub or network switch,
you will need a standard network cable.
Perform the following steps to connect FRITZ!Box Fon ata to
the router via a network hub or network switch:
1.
Remove the network cable from the package.
2.
Connect one end of the cable to a free port on the net-
work hub or switch.
3.
Connect the other end of the cable to the socket labeled
“WAN”, located at the far left of the back panel of
FRITZ!Box Fon ata.

The green “Internet” LED lights up to signalize that
FRITZ!Box Fon ata is ready for Internet connections over
a broadband line.
