4.3 Commissioning the stunning device
Do not extend the provided power supply cable. Longer power cables can
cause intermittent contacts during the stun process.
We recommend installing a socket or a fixed connection.

The signal and display elements of the stunning device must be easily
visible by the operator, so that faults are recognized immediately.
Mount the stunning device with our mounting set* (Fig. 4-2) on a wall
at a height of at least 1.6 m.
To do so, use the 4 mounting holes on the back of the stunning
device (Fig. 4-1).
When not in use, store the stun tong in a suitable holding device at
the same height.
Integrate the stunning device in an effective equipotential bonding
system (i.e. it must be grounded).
Install an Emergency-Stop switch in the electric supply circuit.
Route electric cables so that the slaughter animals cannot interfere
with them.
Install the stunning device where water can run off easily.
