4.5 BEFORE USAGE
Before the machine start-up, the operator
shall read and understand all parts of this
manual, and in particular what is written
in “Section II” concerning safety.
4.6 START UP
To start up the machine, rotate the key
(A fig. 3/1) clock wise.
The indicator of the battery level (B fig
3/1) will sign the residual battery level.
4.7 SAFETY PUSH BUTTON
On the end of the control handgrip there is a safety/emergency push button that locks
any machine function in case it is crushed (E fig. 3/1).
Therefore, it makes sure that during the towing operation the driver is not crushed in
case there is suddenly an obstacle behind him while he is operating the machine wal-
king backwards, something he shall never do.
Always operate the machine walking forward so to see obstacles, if any.
It is strictly forbidden to operate the tractor walking backwards.
4.8 FORWARD MOVEMENT WHEN TOWED
The tractor is equipped with an electrical brake that is engaged automatically when
it is not moving.
In order to go forward when towed, place one hand on the control system and with
the thumb slowly rotate the “forward control lever” (C fig. 3/1) to the bottom and
keep it in the chosen position, in this case the operator will move forward with his
shoulders backwards towards the machine.
Only for the pushing operations, place both hands on the control handlebar and with
the thumbs slowly rotate the forward control lever towards the machine (C fig. 3/1)
and keep it in the chosen position.
When the lever is released, the machine stops immediately in both cases and the
electrical brake is engaged automatically.
The machine is not suit to operate continuously while pushed but only for
short manoeuvres.
On the machine control handlebar there is also a start-up push button for the warning
